We all have close friends, but how often do you get to hang out with them? Go for a catchup coffee? A movie night? Or even dinner? The most common answer is probably not as often as you both would like. Lucky for us, last week got to hang with upcoming star and our close friend Bettina Banks. She was kind enough to take some time off from her busy schedule just to fit us in. Thanks Betti!

So whilst we had her all to ourselves we decided to interrogate her about a few things and even got a few secrets out of her. Here’s how the interview went downs:

Everyone knows you as the body piercer from Industrie8. I guess the first question would be, when did you get your first piercing and where was it?
I got my first piercing at 15 years old and being a girl, I got my belly piercing done. I then started body piercing at Industrie8 in 2007 and became addicted shortly after and haven’t stop since!

How many piercings do you have currently?
30 to be exact! I use to have 40 but I’ve taken a few out since then.

How did you get in to modeling and Go Go dancing?
I started as a freelance model, working part-time in clubs doing promo work and catwalks events up until 2011.

We’re really digging those Eskimo looking dancing boots you have. Where the hell do you even buy them?
You can buy them from Go Go shops.. *giggles* No.. seriously we make them ourselves. Buy the material, cut them out and sew them. House wife material right here!

Now everyone knows you’ve got tattoos. That back piece of yours looks amazing. What’s the story behind that?
I’ve always wanted a back piece, but of course – something with meaning. Ive got a geisha on my back and landscape. if you do your research right geisha’s were entertainers and working hard women to get their name “known” in their society. They had alot of sacrifices, ups and down in their life but in the end it’s worth it. Kinda reminds me of me.

A random fact that your friends may not know about you?
Umm.. I like my feet! You know that a lot of girls don’t like their feet.  I actually like and think I have cute feet. Have you actually met a girl who likes feet?

Err.. can’t say we have. Last question, if you had to choose, would you choose career over love?
I have before, I chose career over love and I would not do it again cause it hurts too much! Although in saying that, I have no regrets cause I love what I’m doing!
